What Isabel sees all day...

Today I got to experience what Isabel sees all day, before 5:30 when he turns into hellspawn. He was cute, fun, giggly, alert, playful, and very talkative.

We had a really fun bath in which I put him in the toddler side so he could sit up a bit more. You could tell he wasn't too sure at first, but then he got into it and did his usual kicking and splashing. Since the part at his feet now is more reclined, the kicking made waves that crashed right up and over. What a mess!

We had some visitors today, too - Alison and Lisa, former Genex employees who saw Fin grow from little Gummi through the Dos Manos and all the way up to the "superkid" that is is now. (This is the same Alison who inspired me to take a pregnancy test...) Lisa pointed out that he was in typical boy heaven - on the couch watching sports with his bottle and surrounded by women. (Somehow the thought makes me hope he becomes a ballerina. Just kidding.)

We had a great day, and it was great to have L&A over for some fun. He did get fussy toward 5:30 as usual, though some milk fixed that. And Mark and I went to Hugos for dinner where he promptly passed out, throwing our entire schedule/routine out of whack. Oh well...
